Fundraiser for North Shore Middle School- Surfer Bar This Thursday 1/30

Community members are working toward developing a middle school (grades 7th and 8th) for Oahu’s North Shore, and are hosting a fundraiser this Thursday, January 30th at Surfer Bar. Join founding members, board and committee members for a fun evening at Turtle Bay with live music from Crimson Apple from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and DJ Twilight from 9:00 to 10:00pm. And don’t forget to enter the $5 raffle for a chance to win a custom Pyzel shortboard! Purchase tickets at the door for $15 or ahead of time for $13 at nscharter.org. 1 free child entry for every paying adult.
North Shore Charter wants to offer an academic institution that cultivates student stewardship in addressing both local and global issues through progressive, research-based instructional methods. Our proposed charter school will serve approximately one hundred 7th and 8th grade students from North Shore communities. The purpose of opening our charter on the North Shore is to offer an alternative school that promotes self-motivation, creativity and courage to create community-minded problem solvers.
For more information or to support, donate or volunteer, please visit nscharter.org. We hope to see you at the upcoming fundraiser!
