Makua Beach – Westside Cleanup Festival

September 23, 2017, 9:00am – September 23, 2017, 5:00pm

The Makua Cleanup is an Annual beach clean up honoring Hawaiian history through service and education. Join us at 9AM on September 23rd for a massive effort to clean the beaches at and around Makua Beach. We will clean from Keawaula (Yokohama) and Keeau. If we get enough people we will also send a contingent to Makaha. Please bring shoes, a reusable waterbottle, some snacks, and reef friendly sunscreen. This is a drug and alcohol free event. Illegal camping will not be allowed in Makua and strictly enforced by the DLNR. This event made possible by Hawaiian Electric Companies, Kona Brewing Company, and Parley for the Oceans.
