Town- A Photo Tribute

Somewhere in Honolulu an office phone is ringing. The man whose job it is to answer cannot hear it because out his window, a bomb set is approaching, and he’s pau hana in 20 minutes. It’s summertime in Town. The city’s ablaze, and the waves are on fire.

We walk through crowded streets with feet burning, and hope to find that little bit of solitude. This is our town, and we love it.

The city skyline sets the scene for this aquatic playground. So much has changed, yet, so much remains the same.

A profusion of options present the problem of “what to do?” The south shore seems to have a little bit of everything, with the only shortage being the hours in a day.
