Big Island Style

The Big Island of Hawaii is not known for its surf. Being the youngest island of the Hawaiian Island chain, the ocean has yet to erode the shorelines and groom the reef’s like Oahu, Kauai, and Maui. But the surf talent coming from the Big Island is making waves in the surfing world. How could an island with dismal surf produce such talented surfers? We had to find out for ourselves. So we hopped on over to find out that the Big Island has really fun waves and a melting pot of talent that will be seen in the years to come.
