The North Shore came alive at the during the end of Summer to provide some much needed water time for locals and traveling surfers alike. A WNW swell graced the shorelines with variable winds making the mornings and afternoons a glassy on the 7 mile stretch with side onshore winds in the middle of the day. Pipeline was still in its grooming phase with the backwash unleashing over the shallow reef while other spots like Rocky Point, Jocko’s, and Sunset were grabbing the swell which seen the likes of John John Florence, Bruce Irons, Billy Kemper, and many more taking advantage of the off season swell.
