Surf City El Salvador is the country’s surf tourism initiative, running along the Pacific coast through La Libertad and beyond. In 2026 it hosted the Surf City El Salvador Pro at Punta Roca, a stop on the WSL Championship Tour, and the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, which drew 428 athletes from 56 countries, Team Hawaiʻi included.
