Since the North Shore’s Banzai skatepark first opened, the action has never stopped. With an enthused co mergence of groms at almost all hours of the day, it was about time for the region’s first every skateboard competition. Also the first event of the Association of Skateboarders in Hawaii 2015 season, the 808 Skate Open highlighted the current crop of Hawaii’s budding skateboard scene and offering divisions for all ages as well as one for local sponsored pros.
