Hawaii Adaptive Surf Team Wins 4 Medals at the ISA Surfing World Parasurf Championships

The Hawaii Adaptive Surf Team traveled to Huntington Beach, California, from November 4-11, 2023, competing against surfers from over 28 countries. These athletes undergo year-round training and compete in Hawaii Surf Association contests, also participating at the national level with USA Surfing.

  • The International Surfing Association (ISA), established in 1964, is recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the World Governing Authority for Surfing.

  • Parasurf World Championships have been held since 2015.

  • The 2022 championships hosted over 180 athletes from 28 countries.
