Life is a collection of experiences, thoughts, feelings and expression, so indeed Mikala Jones lived a charmed and beautiful life. For surfers we might say he was a prince of good vibes and good living. RIP legend. One of the most humble, quiet, kind, and barreled humans has lost his life doing what he loved, surfing. Word is Mikala got a severe and fatal fin cut in his leg while surfing. Friends for nearly 30 years, the last time I saw Mikala was a few months ago smiling at each other and sharing a few waves at Sunset with only 6 guys out. A rare situation as rare as the man himself.
