You might have caught a few clips of Laird Hamilton surfing good-sized raglan on a foil board.
In a clip released today, Laird talks us through the experience, as he maneuvers what he calls “the most efficient wave riding machine” through some wind-swept NZedd left peelers.
“The foil board opens up waves that aren’t for surfing,” says Laird. “We prefer looking for waves where people aren’t surfing, because it opens up a whole world of places where no one’s out… It makes the ocean bigger.”
