With a heavy heart the surfing world lost a true champion. Derek Ho was a kind, friendly charismatic human with amazing ocean talent, crafty competition skills and a true zest for life. Derek won numerous surfing events and Vans Triple crown titles and also is the first surfer from Hawaii to Win the coveted ASP world title. He was a father, a friend and spirit we will never forget.
