The Local Motion Surf Into Summer is the biggest amateur contest around, bringing together surfers from all ages to compete at Ala M oana Bowls. Although divisions range from sr. men to women, longboard, and bodyboard, it’s the youth bringing their elite surf game to the coveted left hand walls, stamping their name as Hawaii’s best amateurs coming up in the competition realm. The Local Motion Surf Into Summer also held a special Creators and Innovators division, inviting some of the best surfboard craftsmen in the islands to shred their shapes.
