Garrett McNamara will tour Portugal and document his travels with forthcoming video clips. The project, sponsored by Portugal’s tourist department hopes to put Portugal on the map to future surf-travellers. Portugal is already well-known for it’s Rip Curl Pro event held in Peniche as well as the giant waves that hit the Nazaré Canyon each winter.
The Turismo de Portugal project will produce 14 three-minute videos to air online and possibly on television. Stay tuned for the first episode….
